My mother and have done dna tests and made the discovery that we descend from a Hairston, Stutz, or Stockton line.  We discovered through dna testing that my mother's father was not her biological father.  The research leads to Henry County.  I believe my mother's father may have been a Rucker.  I am trying to find the connection to the above lines mentioned.  My mother is 81 years old and is a 2nd or 3rd cousin to a person with the maiden name Stockton, married to a Hairston, with a direct Stultz line.  This line leads to Anderson Stultz and slave Amanda (Mandy).  I am having trouble filling in the names of the Stockton line, so I can't say yet how we're related.  any help would be greatly appreciated.
